| For the most part your chin and nose determine your profile. If you draw an imaginary line straight down from your forehead, touching the most foward part of your upper lip ... this line will show you where the projection of your chin should generally end up. If your chin extends beyond that point, it would be considered 'strong'... if it is in underprojected it would be considered 'weak' or receding. facial features, one thing effects another. For example, a weak chin will make an average sized nose appear larger. This is important to consider because sometimes what is considered a 'big nose' problem is really a receding chin problem. The jaws also may be weak if the chin is weak and the lower third of the face may benefit from additional width utilizing jaw implants with a chin implant.
