| There is no doubt about it, the nose makes a central contribution to the overall harmony in one's face. Whether you are enlarging, reducing, shaping or lifting.. you should consider your entire face and how altering your nose will affect your face as a whole. As you evaluate your own nose, it is important not to let preconceived ideas of a 'perfect' nose confine you. What looks good on one face, may not look good on your face. There are some general characteristics most people find cosmetically appealing such as a straight nasal dorsum (or bridge), a narrow nasal tip, a small dip between the nasal tip and the nasal dorsum. The angle between the nostrils and upper lip should be between 90% and 105%, and there is also a proper amount of nasal projection from the face... and an aesthetically pleasing width.
